Why the first HR job is hard
A new HR specialist gets a vacancy to close, a newcomer to onboard and a survey to run, often in the same week. Nobody explains how each task is done, and there is no time to read a textbook for each one. What helps is a ready form: a job profile, an interview question list, an onboarding checklist.
What changes after this course
You know what an HR specialist does and how each process works: hiring, onboarding, training, OKRs, culture, meetings and events, payroll, incentives, employer brand, HR policies, surveys, analytics and automation. For each one you have documents to start from. And you can speak about HR in English with the right terms.

Who is teaching
I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe.
I was a beginner in HR myself, and I got there by chance. At the end of my studies a friend told me that Alfa-Bank was hiring credit specialists for 150 dollars a month, good money when my classmates started at 100. I joined and went to the training. I had a banking education, so I answered every question and passed the exam better than anyone. The trainers said: since you are so smart, do you want to be a trainer and recruiter like us? I liked that work far more than issuing loans, and I said yes. That is how my HR career began.
How to use the course
